Luumen has two levels of grouping, the organization and its workspaces, and your LuumenAI conversations are saved as sessions.

Your organization is your company in Luumen. It owns the plan, the billing, and the list of people who can sign in. Everyone you invite joins the organization, and their role is set there. Whoever creates it is the first owner. The name is set during account setup and can be changed in Settings.

A workspace sits inside the organization and holds actual work. Most teams use workspaces to separate environments, clients, or business units, so the people working on one set of servers are not looking at everyone else's.

Each workspace has its own:

A user sees only the workspaces they have been given access to. Within one, they can see all of its hosts and its workspace credentials.

Click Manage workspaces in the left navigation, or open Settings, then Workspaces. Create workspace asks only for a Workspace name, such as Production. Owners and admins can rename a workspace, see and edit its member list, and delete it.

Free includes one workspace. Pro, Team, and Enterprise include as many as you need. For more information see: plans.

Every organization must always have at least one workspace, so to delete your last one, create its replacement first. Deleting a workspace is permanent and removes every host, group, and workspace credential in it. Changing plans never deletes a workspace.

Two patterns cover most cases.

One workspace is suitable for a single team looking after one estate. Use Host Groups and tags inside it to add structure.

A workspace per client or environment suits managed service providers and teams that must keep production separated. An MSP managing several clients creates one workspace per client, so each client's hosts, credentials, and Skills stay in their own workspace and never appear alongside another client's. Access is granted per workspace, so a contractor working on one client can be given that workspace and nothing else, and a production credential shared in one workspace is invisible from another.

Your current workspace is shown in the top-left corner. Click on the dropdown to switch workspaces, or if you are an Admin or Owner create a new workspace or manage your workplace settings.

Every LuumenAI conversation is automatically saved as a session. The sidebar lists your previous sessions, and you can reopen a past session to pick up where you left off. To rename or close a session, click the three dots beside it in the sidebar.

To close or rename a session click the three dots "... " beside the chat.
